Greenwood Historical Society was incorporated on April 26, 1976. The incorporators were: Dominic S. Sacca and Roberta C. Hansen both from Greenwood Nebraska. The first Charter members were: Dominic S. Sacca, Mr. & Mrs. Kelmer Hansen, Mr. & Mrs. Glen Bean, Mr. & Mrs. Ken Carpenter, Mr. & Mrs. Ken McDonell, Dorthy Maher, Eric Leonard, Brooks Griffin and Marie Claycomb.

THE GREENWOOD HISTORICAL SOCIETY WELCOMES YOU TO VISIT THE GREENWOOD DEPOT MUSEUM LOCATED IN THE GREENWOOD VILLAGE PARK. THE GREENWOOD DEPOT MUSEUM IS THE OLDEST RAILROAD MUSEUM IN CASS COUNTY HOUSING A VARIETY OF HISTORICAL ITEMS.
THE DEPOT MUSEUM IS OPEN APRIL THROUGH OCTOBER BY APPOINTMENT.
